Refund & Return Policy

Since 1940, our family has built S Malhotra Jewellers on a foundation of absolute trust and transparency. We want you to be completely in love with your jewellery. If for any reason you are not, here is our simple and straightforward return policy to ensure your peace of mind.

1. Easy 7-Day Returns

We gladly accept returns and exchanges if you change your mind, provided the following simple conditions are met:

  • You request the return within 7 days of receiving your jewellery.
  • The jewellery is completely unworn, undamaged, and exactly as you received it.
  • You return it with all original packaging, the original invoice, and all certificates (like the BIS Hallmark tag and diamond laboratory reports).

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Because certain pieces are made exclusively for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on the following:

  • Custom Orders: Any jewellery that was custom-designed or made specifically to your order.
  • Altered Pieces: Rings or bracelets that have been specially resized to fit you.
  • Engraved Jewellery: Any item that has been personalized with names, dates, or custom messages.

3. How Refunds Are Processed

To protect the purity of our collection, every returned item is gently inspected by our master goldsmiths to confirm its exact weight, gold purity, and diamond authenticity before a refund is issued.

Once your item passes this quick inspection, we will immediately process your refund. Please allow 7 to 10 working days for the money to safely appear back in your bank account or on your original credit/debit card.

4. Shipping Your Return

If you are returning an item simply because you changed your mind, you will be responsible for packing it safely and paying for the return shipping. We highly recommend using a fully insured shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Note: If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong item, or if the item arrived damaged, we will completely cover the cost of the return shipping.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We pack every box with extreme care under camera surveillance. However, if your jewellery arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery. Simply send us a photo and your order details, and we will fix the issue immediately at no cost to you.
